No need. They're clean and ready to use right out of the package.
Think of it this way – Laundry-Free Linens® are ideal any time you don’t want to wash your sheets. If you’re a college student, this may be when you’re time-crunched and just can’t make it to the laundry room, you’re sick, or have visitors. It may be when you’re camping and don’t want to bring dirty, smelly sheets back home. Laundry-Free Linens® are also great for vacation homes – after all, you need room in your suitcase for souvenirs, not dirty sheets. Home healthcare, travel, or there’s always a good old-fashioned toga party...the possibilities are endless!
Though they may withstand one or two washings, Laundry-Free Linens® are designed to be used and disposed of instead of laundering. Beantown Bedding makes no warranty regarding the product or laundry machines if laundered.
Laundry-Free Linens® are semi-durable and can be used up to several weeks, depending on usage habits.
Discard in a compost bin or trash receptacle or give them a second life by dropping them in a textile recycling bin (no washing necessary). See our partners’ web sites for recycling bin locations:American Textile Recycling Services: www.ATRSCorp.com; Recycle That: www.RecycleThat.com.
They will degrade in a landfill, but not as quickly as in compost. Testing in an accredited environmental laboratory showed that nonwoven fabrics made of 100% Lenzing fibers (the fibers used to make Laundry-Free Linens®) “degraded readily” in simulated landfill conditions.
